Roca London Gallery by Zaha Hadid Architects

London based firm Zaha Hadid Architects recently has completed 'Roca London Gallery' for the high end global bathroom brand, Roca. Comprised of gallery spaces, lounge areas, a bar and meeting rooms, the 1100 meter square location will serve to host a variety of activities such as exhibitions, presentations, seminars and debates. To make the space versatile to all the functions and events, audiovisual, sound and light equipment are incorporated into the surfaces.

House in Nukuikitamachi by Mizuishi Architect Atelier

Japan based practice Mizuishi Architect Atelier (Kota Mizuishi) has completed 'House in Nukuikitamachi', a two-storey private dwelling for a family of four and their pets in Tokyo, Japan. Aiming to be a flexible living space that does not require constant maintenance, the design utilizes a series of 'futokoro' - recess void within something - to create a number of functional areas that extend the layout.

Minna-no-ie by mamm-design

Designed by a Japan based architecture practice mamm-design, called minna-no-ie, a two-and-a-half storey dwelling in a residential district of tokyo, Japan. Situated on a 4.5m by 12m plot bound by neighbouring buildings, the design seek to provide a space that seemingly expands beyond its borders by inserting a six meter-high garden room at its center.

Puma House Tokyo by Nendo

The new Puma House Tokyo, located in the japanese city's aoyama design district combines a press room and event space into one open area. The interior design has been executed by japanese design studio Nendo who has made staircases a main structural theme throughout. Within, these architectural elements are installed around the existing features of the multipurpose area which is used for events, exhibitions, fittings, media events, product launches etc. Their use is not only for the purpose of climbing, but they also function as display areas for puma sneakers.

The Water Planet by Urban A&O

 
The centre attraction of the Steinhart Aquarium is the Water Planet, a 6,000 sq ft exhibition area. Designed in collaboration with New York exhibition design firm Thinc Design, the exhibit incorporates new modes of design and technology.

'Hilton Pattaya Hotel' by bangkok studio, Department of ARCHITECTURE is a luxury hotel located in pattaya, thailand. Designed around abstract notions of the sea, the hotel features a series of site specific installations that mimic movements and patterns of the beach and underwater landscapes.
