Copenhagen-based practice Henning Larsen Architects has won the international design competition for the 'Calabar International Conference Center', a new 16,000 m2 facility in southeastern nigeria. Located across the cross river state bordering cameroun, the multi-functional building will host the rapidly growing region's international conferences as well as offer the citizens a new cultural centre for concerts, festivals and exhibitions.

'Siansa National Concert Hall' designed by copenhagen-based practice Henning Larsen Architects is the finalist entry in a invited competition for the cultural facility in Dublin, Ireland. Aiming to serve as more than just a concert hall with exceptional acoustics, the project seeks to have a societal relevance to the citizens, drawing from both the atmosphere and heritage of the site in its iconic design.

The Sino-Danish Centre for Education and Research (SDC), designed by Henning Larsen Architects in Copenhagen, is devoted to Chinese-Danish collaboration.  Otherwise known as the Swan Building, the new SDC reflects a vision to develop Danish presence in China. The Swan Building is a distinct landmark with a unique Danish identity on the new GUCAS campus as it combines Denmark’s national bird and self-perception and the Chinese perception of the swan as a symbol of ambition.

The distinctive residential building by Vejle Fjord, the Wave, designed by Henning Larsen Architects, has been selected as winner of the prestigious Civic Trust Award. The Awards were presented at an official ceremony in People’s History Museum on 4th March in Manchester.
